Vasiliy Ryabykh
In 2018, I began exploring photography with my iPhone. A year later, I acquired my initial pro camera while residing in Vietnam, where I documented tourists and expats for 2 years. I also delved into street photography during my time there.
I captured the lives of local people,
and some city architecture (Ho Chi Minh City).
My photography was featured in the “Sights and Sounds of Saigon” exhibition, which led to a cover story on me in the Saigon Times.
I attended the annual HCMC Marathon in January 2020, and this experience inspired me to explore sports photography in more depth.
From that moment on, I have focused mainly on photographing athletes and sports events. I've covered competitions of all kinds: from local meets to national championships, as well as international tournaments.
I believe that sports photography has the power to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, shape how we view the world around us, and lead us toward a brighter tomorrow.
